Jake Lipman and Sherry Locher met in 2008 when cast in a romantic comedy, Exes and Ohs, and immediately hit it off. Over the years (and many beers) they talked about the funny lessons they’ve learned as actors in NYC. In early in 2012, they turned that comic fodder into the first five episodes of Season One of Smart Actress. In 2013, they launched season two with six more episodes. A very special thanks to James A. Hill for shooting Season Two, production coordination and boom operation by Bruce Antonio Laue, and the talented actors in each episode: Lynn Berg (“Frank”), Michael Edmund (“Robert”), Tara Gadomski (“Nosy Actress”), Gusta Johnston (“Star Search Actress”), and George Pappas (“Casting Director”).
